Terms & Conditions – Wattshare App

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Wattshare App (“App”), owned and operated by Wattshare Pty Ltd (“Wattshare”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms, which comply with Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to register an account.
- If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
2. Services Provided
- The App allows you to locate and access public EV chargers, manage charging sessions, and connect your home charger.
- Wattshare acts as a platform provider and does not own or operate all public charging stations. Availability cannot be guaranteed.
3. Fees & Payments
- Charging fees and session costs will be displayed before activation.
- Payments are processed securely via approved third-party providers (PCI-DSS compliant).
- All prices include GST where applicable.
4. Consumer Guarantees
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If our services fail to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to remedies including repair, replacement, refund, or compensation.
5. Limitations of Liability
- The App is provided “as is” and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
- Wattshare is not liable for charger downtime, network issues, or third-party operator faults.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.
6. User Responsibilities
- You must use the App lawfully and not attempt to disrupt, misuse, or tamper with charging infrastructure.
- You are responsible for ensuring your EV and equipment comply with safety standards.
7. Intellectual Property
The App, branding, and all content are owned by Wattshare Pty Ltd and protected under Australian copyright and trademark law.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App indicates your acceptance of updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
